I really enjoyed Blue Umbrella too; I always find Pixar's shorts before the movie a joy, and are a great way for them to try out more experimental ideas. And I checked out your blog as well. Really cool stuff; I'll be checking it out more in the future!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06325051389533063898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-974887572724356882.post-20580268024616115502013-06-22T09:13:09.141-07:002013-06-22T09:13:09.141-07:00Hey Moo, I found a link to you Monster's Unive...Hey Moo, I found a link to you Monster's University review via the Cartoon Brew MU talkback post. I've read it and I think it's a really fair and thorough article. I did a little write up when I saw MU on my own blog but my "review" was far more brief and pretty much a personal takeaway and a nod to the film. I did think it was extremely well done and I mentioned that. I agree with you that it was a really funny movie. I wrote more about The Blue Umbrella than MU actually. I forgot about the tradition of Pixar shorts preceding the feature length films and I was happily reminded. I love to see animated shorts.
